Qualcomm Bluetooth Stack : Since the Bluetooth
Stack providing to Qualcomm has built-in baseband in
MSM chip, it is possible to realize the Bluetooth Profiles
installing only Bluetooth RF without additional baseband,
to bring the maximum effect with the minimum cost..
But, it can be a disadvantage that it does not install
additional chip because it might consequence some critical
influences on Bluetooth if any problem happens in the
modem chip. Also, several problems in the stability
and performance of the Bluetooth have been found and
the performance in supporting in Qualcomm is significantly
lower than that in installing Bluetooth chip of other
companies.
With Qualcomm Bluetooth solution, basic function provided
by Qualcomm, you can use basic profile stack such as
Audio Gateway, Dialup Networking, Serial Port Profile,
General Access Profile and others.
With additional license, you may add OEBX related profiles
(OPP, FTP, BIP, BPP) and you need to develop other profiles
by yourself except those profiles above.
