According to growth of wireless communication,
the efforts to overcome limitation which wired network has not overcome
have been proceeded. Especially, one of the most actively being
discussed or progressed one at overall social area such as home,
factory, military is ubiquitous. Ubiquitous is defined as construction
of the environment that we can get any information we need from
network at any time and any where. If the biggest problem in 20th
century was inconvenience in the wired world, the task we received
in 21st century is removal of wires.
According to this situation, the wireless communication field is
booming in various fields like wireless LAN, wireless internet,
mobile communication, sensor network, etc. ZigBee is the most interesting
one in sensor network field.
So, many chip vendors such as Philips, Motorola, Freescale, Ember,
Jennic have joined competitively and taken effort to get prior occupation.
The users who have used non-standard wireless communication technology
will use 802.15.4 ZigBee standard with low price and consumption
in many industrial field.
