Qualification |

There are two qualification programs as standard trend
of ZigBee Qualification. One is ZigBee Platfoem Compliance and the
other is End Product Certification.
ZigBee Platform Compliance is platform based program which can complements
the limitation of ensuring interoperability of qualification program
for Bluetooth. It decides qualification with overall test for RF,
PHY, MAC, Stack, Profile and applicant should prepare total solution.
End Product Certification is for the final product based on the
ZigBee Platform which completed ZigBee Platform Compliance qualification,
after completion of ZigBee Profile compliance test required to the
product and interoperability test with 2~3 products from other vendors,
the qualification logo may be granted.
When there are any changes of S/W or H/W of the product after qualification
approval through produce test, qualification application, qualification
test, ¡°Re-certification¡± should be executed.
Two Qualification facilities, TUV and NTS, were selected considering
interoperability, efficiency, term and cost.
ZigFest is the forum which is held separately from qualification
program in every quarter for complement of standard technology and
interoperability test and only members can participate.
The qualification level is classified to 3 levels of Level1(RF,
PHY), Level2(Network), Level3(Security, APS, interoperability).
