According to increase of date transfer rate, Local
area wireless LAN technology with several Mbps to tens of Mbps has
been developed in wireless communication field and several hundreds
Kbps to several hundreds Mbps data transfer technology has been
developed in wired communication field. But these technologies have
problems such as high price, speed, power consumption in home automation,
In-Building, Industrial, Remote Control System, Security field.
Because low data transfer rate is sufficient to achieve the object
in these fields, low price and low power consumption technology
almost without battery change is required. So, the demand to provide
only embedded control and monitoring has increased and the methods
to connect them are needed. Under this background, IEEE 802.15.4
ZigBee Mac was appeared and ZigBee Stack is being developed for
this Mac. We can integrate wireless communication on electronic
devices with low price using ZigBee wireless networking technology.
Especially, this technology can be used in overall social area such
as home and building automation, energy saving, even in national
defense. |
