It uses 2.4GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) band which
can be used for free without permission from FCC and various terminals
can connect in maximum 10m(currently being improved to 50m) with
1Mbps speed (real efficient rate is asynchronous 721K).
Wireless communication method is using spread spectrum technology
with Frequency Hopping method which configures 79 channels of
1Mhz in 2.4GHZ frequency band and changes channel 1600 times per
second.
Profile is standard classified according to use of protocol and
defined operation sequence. Now, there are 13 types and being
extended. Additionally, each chip company have progress unitizing
Bluetooth chips for low power consumption, making smaller, low
price of Bluetooth modules.
